How a disruption gets handled

From a dark truck to reassigned load in four steps

No infrastructure overhaul or carrier re-enrolment. MatchLog works with the tools already in use.

The process

Each step is under an hour for a typical operation.

01

Link your TMS

Share your TMS API credentials. MatchLog retrieves active loads, carrier assignments, and scheduled pickups. Access is read-only during onboarding.

02

Connect ELD positions

Connect your ELD or telematics source. MatchLog links carrier GPS positions to assigned loads and monitors lag in real time.

03

Check dispatch alerts

When late pickup risk is flagged, dispatchers get a ranked list of available nearby carriers. One click proposes a swap, another confirms it.

04

Approved changes sync automatically

After dispatcher approval, MatchLog writes the re-route to your TMS and alerts the new carrier. Records remain consistent without manual entry.

What changes

Dispatch after 30 days

Fewer check-in calls

Dispatchers stop calling carriers for position checks. MatchLog shows it directly, so check-ins drop for pilot participants.

Recover missed pickups sooner

At-risk loads are flagged 2 to 4 hours before dispatchers would typically spot them. Earlier notice leaves more re-route choices before the window closes.

Written carrier accountability

The audit log stores every assignment change, confirmation, and position snapshot. Performance reviews rely on data rather than memory.

Setup questions

Most operations go live within one business day. TMS API setup takes 30-60 minutes. ELD configuration takes 20-30 minutes. We guide both on a shared screen call.

No. MatchLog reads carrier position data from your existing ELD or telematics source. Carriers do not need to download an app or register on a new platform.

We expand TMS connectors based on pilot demand. Contact us with your provider to confirm support before signing up.

No. Every re-route recommendation needs explicit dispatcher confirmation before any change is written to the TMS or sent to a carrier. MatchLog is decision support, not an autonomous agent.
