We watched India's freight floors run on calls and spreadsheets
MatchLog does not replace dispatchers. It gives them timely information to act before a load falls apart.
How we got here
MatchLog began with a question: why did Indian dispatchers hear about missed pickups from shippers instead of their own systems? The issue was structural, not a lack of technical effort. TMS data and carrier GPS were disconnected, with no bridge between them.
For months, we spoke with dispatch managers across Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu. The pattern was consistent: skilled dispatchers spent time on avoidable check-in calls, while late alerts meant re-routing decisions came too late.
We focus on one specific problem, not on building a large logistics platform. MatchLog coordinates between TMS data and carrier networks, giving dispatchers time to act before a load falls apart.
Three people, one focus
A bootstrapped team of three in Bengaluru.
Dhruv Taneja
CEO & Co-Founder
Dhruv brings freight-operations experience from the dispatch floor, with a clear view of why loads break down. He focuses on helping dispatchers close communication gaps and make timely decisions.
Priya Nair
CTO & Co-Founder
Priya builds real-time data systems where latency determines whether a signal is useful. She designed MatchLog's constraint solver and position-ingestion pipeline for its re-routing engine.
Rajan Mehta
Head of Product
Rajan brings freight-brokerage operations experience and manages carrier relationships. He guides the product roadmap and leads early-access pilot relationships.
Our principles
Dispatch floor first
Features begin with conversations with working dispatchers. We do not build from conference room assumptions.
Assist, do not replace
Dispatchers have knowledge no algorithm can match. We share information and recommendations; they decide every change.
Narrow and deep
We solve one part of freight coordination and solve it well. We will not add TMS, ERP, or marketplace features simply to grow revenue.
